•  Start your search by viewing a few of homes in different price ranges just to get a feel for what is available out there. Based upon this initial feedback you may decide to alter some of the requirement that you had listed.
• View houses on your home computer: If you have a computer and access to Internet then you would be able to visually see houses in the area you are interested in before you go and visit them. Pictures, along with descriptions, may save you a lot of traveling time. Check out the local Multiple Listing Service
• View Houses on your Realtor's office computer:  They  have access to the Internet & World Wide Web. You should therefore view the houses on his/her computer before you decide to visit them.
• Visit Homes: There is no substitute for physically visiting and viewing the properties. Go to only those homes that basically meet your Requirement Analysis. Make a list of all the homes you visit.
• Analyze each House: Analyze each house that you visit and match it against your Requirement Analysis that was prepared in step 4.
